It's landscaped with running water and the sound of the... read more water is extremely soothing. There were 2 apple trees, one green and one red apple tree that were laden with fruit. Quiet a treat for the eyes! It's been done up with good aesthetics. Every single item in the dining hall ,the bar and billiards room seems to be hand picked . We stayed in the suit and the view from the room and balcony was superb ! The bathroom was the size of a room and fitted with all modern amenities.The view from the tub in the bathroom is excellent and gives you full value for money. Staff is extremely pleasant and hospitable. They are ready to extend help with anything ,always with a smiling face. Now coming to food. Spread for breakfast is phenomenal.Menu is such that it will cater to all taste buds. Their Indian preparations are tasty and totally up to the mark. Puri bhaji/ bread poha / lemon vermicelli/gatte ki sabji are well prepared. South indian dishes are ok ..could be better and same goes for Pizzas/Burritos et al. I think a separate chef is required for these preparations. Bakery products were good. Specially banoffee pie! They also offer a range of coffees and milk shakes that are good. The property offers a pool table,a chess board ,a TT table ..all in good working condition.
They also have a fully functional Gym with equipment just right for a workout when on a holiday! Plus a spa which unfortunately I could not use .
They also offer bikes on hire.
In all a very well run property away from the hustle bustle of Old Manali and yet close enough..just 20 minute drive.
And the approach to the property is via a narrow bridge which we enjoyed . However there are 2 other routes to reach the property.
We discovered 4 different areas around the property during our morning walks ..each area is pristine ,untouched and offers wonderful views . Shanag village,Burwa village ,road leading to Old Manali. These paths are filled with fruit laden trees ,streams with boulders ,exotic birds and lovely views!
This property is a must try!
